Malaka Mustafa
Malaka's Professional Career
Malaka Mustafa, PA-C, has been a certified physician associate since 2017, specializing in orthopedics and pain management. Known for her ability to make patients feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for, Malaka blends clinical expertise with deep empathy — helping people not only reduce pain, but reclaim their quality of life.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Dalton State College in 2014, completing the four-year program in just three years while graduating magna cum laude and serving as the head of the international student organization. At age 21, she was accepted into South College in Knoxville, TN, where she completed her physician associate degree in 2017, graduating in the top 10% of her class.
Her sense of Purpose and Inspiration
After graduation, Malaka worked 64-hour weeks—balancing full-time orthopedic surgery with emergency department shifts on weekends—to pay off her student debt in under a year. That intense chapter of her life taught her the urgency and beauty of time. In both surgery and emergency medicine, she witnessed life’s fragility—and its meaning—through the stories shared by patients in their most vulnerable moments.
Her Passion
Now, as CFO of Palistory, Malaka channels the same compassion and attentiveness into the world of storytelling. She believes that stories—like people—deserve to be heard, honored, and preserved. Her dual roles as healer and storyteller allow her to serve humanity on both a physical and emotional level.
Outside of work, Malaka enjoys playing tennis with her husband, Adel, and spending time outdoors with their two children, Laith and Layanne. Her mission is to inspire young Muslim women to pursue excellence boldly and unapologetically. She believes the sky isn’t the limit—it’s just the beginning.
