Why Stories

Stories are compelling and personal. They add color to history by providing valuable insight and information that can’t be found in just facts and numbers. For this reason, Palestinians have long relied on the power of storytelling to keep their history and culture alive despite active suppression. History is best depicted through stories.

This site intends to provide a place where Palestinians may tell their story, from their perspective. So far, the world has been told an othering story about Palestinian people that bears no resemblance to the lives and families of the people whose homeland the Abrahamic faiths all call the Holy Land. Consequently the world continues to deny the holocaust and genocide of Palestinians, at the hands of those who cover their theft with tropes about a land without a people for a people without a land. History is clear that Palestine has been people’d for millennia. This site seeks to tell the stories of these people.
